At least, it appears, Dallas is not Detroit. After the Mavericks won the NBA Finals in six games over the Miami Heat on Sunday night, partying ensued in downtown Dallas and all around the Metroplex.
Luckily, as of 1:45 a.m., Dallas police reported only 14 arrested, mostly for disorderly conduct. There were no cars set on fire. No reported property damage or injuries. And, overall, a good crowd the beefed-up Dallas police said.
