27×7′s Rewind: Stanley Cup Finals Teams Really Don’t Like Each Other

by Bill Bradley on June 6, 2011

The Stanley Cup Finals resume tonight in Boston. And Rewind is here to remind you that these two teams really don’t like each other.

There’s more than just the usual taunts in a playoff series going on. The biting incident that Vancouver Canucks’ Alex Burrows got away with after Game 1 against the Boston Bruins has taken the animosity to another level. (Is the NHL afraid to make a suspension in the Finals or are their officials just blind?)

In case you didn’t see it, the trash-talk and, uh, let’s call it finger-pointing, were taken to another level in Game 2 by Vancouver’s Max Lapierre.
